Greta Thunderberg started off at her stand as a youth advocate. She stated that most of the people nowadays depend on the youth. Wherein these people have too much depended on the differenct technologies and advancements they have developed not even thinking of the different consequences it might cause. This technologies has given us so many benefits and ease, but it has also caused too much negative impacts on the environment in which we depend on, and one of these is climate change.

The iconic “how dare you”is truly felt in Greta’s speech, her strong feelings standing for all of us youth, her great disappointment to these adults whom we depend on are now depending on us to solve climate change; in which in the first place we did not do. She also pointed out that people are currently dying and the ecosystem are collapsing because of climate change. These are all because of the greed of money and power and their ambitious goal of eternal economy rise. Of all the ambitious goals the government has now and even the supporters of these grievous ways of attaining wealth, certainly doubt has no space in their mindset, but their own simple mindedness running around the bush just to pursue more and more supporters and lessening thos who oppose for the betterment of the environment.

Ever felt abnormally hot, in a cold weather? Ever felt cold in a hot weather? Ever had abnormal changes in the climate and weather patterns? From the rainy seasons becoming sizzling hot and summer season becoming freezing cold? What we are looking at is climate change. And yes, we have enjoyed the unending developments of different applications and technologies that has helped our lifestyle easier, and in turn making our life shorter. But, we must consider what is beyond all of these technologies, their source, the root cause of the suffering of different creatures whom we all depend on.

With Greta’s speech, I am pleased on her confidence in standing for all of us. As the youth, whom people disregard as nothing but “kids”, we are all disbanded and left unheard by our different insights about the ongoing climate change. I am grateful on how Greta presented the greediness and ambitiousness of these adults who are all now leaders. As leaders, they need supporters and these supporters shut us down, the youth, because of their simple minded goals where their goals surround on.

As a Louisian, my advocacy for the ongoing climate change is to find new ways to reduce and lessen its effects. To try and stand up on my own, to help persuade others to look at the other side of these developments. To help others realize what we are currently experiencing and to show them that little by little, the animals, and plants we always had are being extinct little by little
